SMO Christmas Celebration 2017

Christmas is always a special time of year at SMO as our team members celebrate the holiday season and this year was even better than ever.  The Christmas celebration started with a new tradition of giving as the SMO management team and office staff donated gifts to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

On December 15th, SMO hosted its annual Turkey Give Away and Share Shop as over 125 team members and guests stopped by the corporate office for fun, food and fellowship.

SMO gave away 100 turkeys to all the team members who attended the event and several lucky team members took home $50 gift card door prizes.  Santa and several of his helpers took a break from their busy schedule to make a special appearance at SMO to give kids the chance to sit on his lap.  Each child received a special gift and picture from Santa.

SMO team members were also able to participate in our annual Share Shop at this year’s event.  SMO team members and their families donate their gently used clothes, toys, furniture and other household items to our Share Shop as attendees are able to shop for those items FREE of charge.  All leftover items were donated to the Greensboro Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.  We would like thank all those who donated to this year’s Share Shop and those that attended our Christmas event.

SMO finished its Christmas celebration as several team members and their families gave of their time to ring the bell for the Salvation’s Army Red Kettle Program on December 16th at the Harris Teeter on Guilford College Road.  We would like to thank all those who braved the chilly temperatures to support those in need this Christmas season.

SMO is wishing everyone a very healthy and prosperous New Year in 2018 and we look forward to another great year.
